Job summary

Ballyhooly Civil Pty Ltd, a Sydney-based civil construction company, is seeking full-time experienced Drainers/Pipelayers with a strong construction background to work on major projects in Sydney.

Requirements include a trade certificate or 3 years of relevant experience; ability to read blueprints and specifications; experience in PVC sewer and stormwater pipe laying; site drainage and de-watering procedures; current white card; and the ability to pass a pre-employment medical including a drug

Qualifications

• Must have a trade certificate or 3 years of relevant experience.
• Experience reading blueprints, drawings and specifications for stormwater and sewerage layouts.
• Experience with PVC sewer and stormwater pipe laying.
• Must have a current white card and be able to pass a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol test.

Responsibilities

• Study blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine stormwater and sewerage layouts.
• Lay PVC sewer and stormwater pipes and carry out trenching and de-watering as required.
• Work as directed to lay pipes in accordance with authority requirements.

To be considered for this position, you will have the following requirements:

Must have a trade certificate OR 3 years of relevant experience

Study blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of stormwater and sewerage systems

Experienced in pipe laying of PVC sewer and stormwater lines

Carry out site drainage and de-watering procedures, employing stormwater, sub-soil, and pump systems.

Must be able to work as directed in laying pipes in accordance with authority requirements

Current white card

Ability to pass a pre-employment medical including a drug and alcohol test.
