Job summary

Mcgrath Contracts Pty Ltd in Sydney is seeking a Drainer/Pipelayer to install, maintain and design below-ground drainage systems and sewerage or effluent disposal setups. The role requires AQF Certificate III with at least two years' experience (or three years' employment substitution).

Responsibilities include setting out, installing, excavating, evaluating drawings, and ensuring OH&S compliance on site using pressure testing equipment and heavy machinery.

Qualifications

• Experience required: AQF Certificate III including at least two years' experience or 3 years employment experience may substitute for formal qualification.
• Three years employment experience in drainage/pipelaying

Responsibilities

• Setting out and installing drainage systems
• Locating and clearing blockages
• Excavating and leveling to line, depth and grade
• Installation of excavation supports
• Interpreting technical drawings
• Excavation for manholes
• Construction of concrete pits
