Job summary

Egis Australia is seeking a Civil Drafting professional to deliver concept design through construction certification for road, pavement, cycleway and related infrastructure. You will produce detailed civil drawings for greenfield and brownfield projects, collaborate with engineers, and apply knowledge of Australian Standards using AutoCAD or 12d.

You will be responsible for:

Providing drafting for concept design through to construction certification for simple to complex road, pavement, cycleway, and DDA compliant infrastructure.

Producing detailed civil drawings for small to large scale greenfield and brownfield developments, as well as commercial, industrial, and medium density projects.

Collaborating within project teams of engineers, receiving technical advice and direction to navigate through technical challenges and issues.

Ideally, you will have:

Experience ranging from beginner to expert level, with demonstrated technical exposure to urban transport or civil engineering.

A Diploma or Associate Degree in Civil Construction Design, Engineering Drafting, or a related qualification.

Technical expertise in civil design drafting with knowledge of relevant guidelines, Australian Standards, and Local Council Planning Schemes.

Strong organisational and interpersonal skills for facilitating internal engagements.

Proficiency in industry standard software packages such as AutoCAD, or 12d.
