Job summary

Select Labour in Townsville is recruiting a Civil Dozer Operator with a HR licence to join our client's Townsville team. A Monday to Friday roster is offered with Saturdays available and a competitive remuneration package.

You will operate dozers in a civil construction environment, perform safety-focused tasks, and work autonomously to meet production targets while following site policies and procedures. Pre-start checks and basic maintenance are required.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a Dozer in civil construction.
• Hold a Construction Card and HR licence.
• Demonstrated commitment to safe working practices on site.
• Ability to work autonomously and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Operate Dozers safely and efficiently on civil projects.
• Sort, move and manage materials on site.
• Load and move materials while maintaining production targets.
• Conduct daily pre-start checks and basic machine maintenance.
• Work with supervisors and site personnel to ensure smooth operations.
• Follow all site policies, procedures and safety regulations.

As our client's team based in Townsville is growing, we have exciting opportunities available for a Civil Dozer Operator with a HR licence to join our team based in Townsville.

A competitive remuneration is on offer, Monday to Friday roster with Saturdays available.

About You to be successful in this role, you will ideally possess.

• Construction Card
• RII for operating a Dozer with 2+ years experience
• Operate Dozers, safely and efficiently within a civil construction environment.
• sort, move and manage materials.
• Work stockpiles and operate off the face with a strong focus on safe operating procedures.
• Load and move materials while maintaining production targets and site safety standards.
• Conduct daily pre-start checks and basic machine maintenance.
• Work closely with supervisors and site personnel to ensure smooth site operations.
• Follow all relevant site policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
• Assist with additional site duties when required.
• HR drivers licence
• Must be able to work autonomously.
• Demonstrated commitment to safe working practices
• Clear thinker in fast paced environment with proven ability to meet deadlines.
