Job summary

MobReady seeks motivated First Nations candidates to start a career as a Civil Construction Trainee across Sydney projects. Over the 3-year apprenticeship you will learn from a skilled team and gain electrical experience while completing a Cert III Civil Construction.

Immediate start; sites across City of Sydney with a depot in Rockdale. This role targets Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander candidates, with female candidates strongly encouraged to apply, and mentoring to support your success.

Qualifications

• Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander candidate as per the role.
• Must have a White Card and be willing to obtain checks.
• Willingness to complete Cert III Civil Construction during traineeship.

Responsibilities

• Assist with repairing, maintaining and installing electrical equipment under supervision.
• Learn and support across Civil Construction projects in Sydney with the team.

The Role:

We are actively seeking motivated First Nations candidates to kickstart your career as a Civil Construction Trainee, working across various projects in Sydney. Over the 3 years, you will work with a highly skilled team to learn all the tricks of the trade.

You will gain electrical experience, whilst working on projects across Sydney and also completing a Cert III Civil Construction.

Immediate start available.

Work sites are across City of Sydney with depot located in Rockdale.

This role is targeted for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander candidates only.

The successful candidate will receive Culturally sensitive mentoring to ensure they have all the support necessary to succeed.

Key Responsibilities:

Under the guidance and supervision of the qualified team, you will be required to carry out repairing, maintaining and installation works of electrical equipment in line with your training/apprenticeship level, as well as any other reasonable duties expected of an Electrical Apprentice.

• Previous experience will be an advantage but not essential!
