Job summary

Hinchinbrook Shire Council is seeking a Civil Construction Labourer for a permanent full-time position. Responsibilities include a range of manual tasks in civil construction and maintenance, performed safely and efficiently to recognised standards.

The ideal candidate will have a C Class Driver’s Licence and White Card, plus fitness for manual labour. Benefits include a 9-day fortnight, 5 weeks annual leave, 17.5% leave loading, up to 12.5% super, and salary packaging options.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in road maintenance or civil construction.
• Current C Class Driver’s Licence (or higher) and White Card.
• Physically fit for manual labour in varying conditions.
• Ability to follow directions and work independently or in a team.
• Strong commitment to safety and WHS compliance.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual labour tasks related to civil construction and maintenance.
• Operate power tools and light machinery safely.
