Job summary

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Certificate III in Civil Construction with hands-on site exposure.
• Willingness to work away from home for up to 10 days.
• Commitment to both on- and off-the-job training.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of hand, power and other tools as directed by supervisors.
• Assist in handling and moving machinery and equipment on site.
• Communicate effectively with site personnel, including supervisors and team members.
• Assist in setting work activity priorities under supervision.
• Perform tasks diligently, adhering to health, safety and environmental rules.
• Assist in clearing and preparing construction sites, including digging trenches and removing debris.
• Carry out other apprentice tasks within skill/ability limits.
