Job summary

Pillow Talk in Gladstone is seeking a Christmas Retail Sales Assistant to join during the busy season. You’ll help customers with gifts, stock shelves and create inviting displays across homewares and decor. This casual, maximum-term role runs now through 24 January 2027.

You’ll need personality, great listening skills and weekend availability to thrive in our fast-paced holiday environment. No prior linen knowledge is required—we train you.

Qualifications

• You’re full of personality and confidence, and can quickly develop interpersonal connections with customers and colleagues.
• Ability to multitask and cope with changing priorities in retail.
• Great availability for work across the seven days of the week, especially busy weekends.
• Excellent listening and problem-solving skills to help customers find gift ideas.
• This role will be a maximum-term contract and available now until 24 January 2027.

Responsibilities

• Unpacking all the new Christmas decorations and summer stock.
• Helping customers pull together decorative looks for the Christmas season across trees, settings, bedrooms and lounge rooms.
• Support the team with a joyful, customer-focused service approach during peak periods.

We are now looking for additional team members across the country to help us bring the Christmas spirit alive. • This role will be a maximum-term contract and therefore, you must be available from now until 24th January 2027
