Job summary

Pillow Talk in Bathurst is seeking a Christmas Retail Sales Assistant to join our team for the festive season. You will help customers choose home decor, unpack new stock, and build beautiful Christmas looks, with shifts across seven days, including weekends.

This maximum-term role runs until 24 January 2027, offering an hourly rate plus monthly incentives. We value warmth, personality and a genuine passion for delightful customer experiences.

We are now looking for additional team members across the country to help us bring the Christmas spirit alive. Anyone can offer you a job at Christmas, but we’ve got something else in mind - JOY!It’s not about how much you know about linen, homewares, or bedding (we can teach you that!), it’s about you, and your unwavering passion to delight every customer you engage!

A bit about you…

• You’re full of personality and confidence, and can quickly develop interpersonal connections with customers and colleagues
• You have the ability to multitask and cope with changing priorities and all the curveballs that retail can throw at you
• You have great availability for work across the seven days of the week, and most importantly our busy weekends
• Great listening skills and problem-solving skills to help our customers find the perfect home gift idea for their loved ones...(comfort really is the gift that keeps on giving!)
• This role will be a maximum-term contract and therefore, you must be available from now until 24th January 2027
