Pillow Talk in Woden, Canberra, is hiring Christmas Casual Retail Sales Assistants to join our busy team. Bring your energy, warmth and love of home decor to help customers create festive looks across linen, bedding and gifts.

You'll unpack new stock, assist customers with decorative ideas, and enjoy a generous staff discount and other benefits from our Flare partnership. This is a maximum-term Christmas role with weekend availability.

Qualifications

• You’re full of personality and confidence, and can quickly develop interpersonal connections with customers and colleagues.
• You have the ability to multitask and cope with changing priorities and all the curveballs that retail can throw at you.
• You have great availability for work across the seven days of the week, and most importantly our busy weekends.
• Great listening skills and problem-solving skills to help our customers find the perfect home gift idea for their loved ones.

Responsibilities

• Unpacking all the new Christmas decorations and summer stock.
• Helping customers pull together decorative looks for the Christmas season—trees, table settings, bedrooms, lounge rooms and more.
• Retail Employee Level 1 Hourly Rate + Monthly Incentives.

We are now looking for additional team members across the country to help us bring the Christmas spirit alive. Anyone can offer you a job at Christmas, but we’ve got something else in mind - JOY!It's not about how much you know about linen, homewares, or bedding (we can teach you that!), it’s about you, and your unwavering passion to delight every customer you engage!

• This role will be a maximum-term contract and therefore, you must be available from now until 24th January 2027
