Job summary

Sedgman is seeking experienced CHPP Operator Maintainers with an Electrical or Mechanical background for a permanent full-time role. The position offers a lifestyle 5/5/4 roster, with a mix of day and night shifts, located near Muswellbrook in the Upper Hunter Valley.

Qualifications

• Australian recognised Electrical or Mechanical trade qualification.
• Experience in mining, minerals processing or heavy industry.
• Ability to work a rotating day and night shift roster.

Responsibilities

• Operate the CHPP in line with site procedures and production targets.
• Conduct routine inspections and identify equipment defects.
• Perform breakdown maintenance and support planned maintenance.
• Monitor plant performance and take corrective action.
• Clear blockages from chutes, pumps, screens, crushers, conveyors, sumps.
• Operate mobile equipment safely around fixed plant and stockpile areas.
• Contribute to safety and continuous improvement initiatives.
