Kestrel is looking for skilled Mechanical and Electrical Tradespeople to join the CHPP team at our Queensland operation. You will contribute to safe, reliable operation and maintenance of fixed plant equipment within a busy underground coking coal mine.

We offer a permanent role with a 7/7 roster, accommodation support where needed, competitive pay and a focus on health, safety and development through tailored programs and leadership initiatives.

Formación

• Recognised Mechanical or Electrical trade qualification.
• Experience with fixed plant equipment within mining or heavy industry.
• Fault-finding, troubleshooting and preventive maintenance experience.
• Strong safety focus and ability to work in a team.

Responsabilidades

• Maintaining a strong commitment to safety and safe work practices.
• Conducting inspections, fault-finding and troubleshooting on CHPP fixed plant equipment and associated systems.
• Performing maintenance, repairs, component replacements and equipment improvements.
• Identifying opportunities to improve plant reliability, availability and performance.
• Collaborating with operations, maintenance and other site teams to achieve safe and efficient outcomes.
• Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across the CHPP.
• Ensuring work is completed to a high standard and in accordance with site procedures and statutory requirements.
