Mangoola Coal is seeking motivated Electrical Trade Qualified Technicians to join our CHPP Maintenance Team. This permanent full-time role involves keeping the Coal Handling and Preparation Plant operating safely, reliably, and efficiently, with a competitive remuneration package including bonuses and relocation assistance where eligible.

Formación

• Trade-qualified electrician with CHPP or fixed plant experience.
• Familiar with crushers, conveyors, vibrating screens, centrifuges and industrial pumps.
• Strong safety awareness and ability to follow plans in a dynamic environment.
• Positive, reliable, proactive and a team player.
• Interested in developing leadership capability and pursuing supervisory opportunities.

What are we looking for?

We’re looking for motivated and safety-focused Electrical Trade Qualified Technicians to join our CHPP Maintenance Team. Working Monday to Friday, you’ll be part of a skilled and collaborative maintenance team responsible for keeping our Coal Handling and Preparation Plant operating safely, reliably and efficiently. These positions are permanent full time. We offer an attractive remuneration package including performance-based bonuses. Relocation assistance may be available for eligible candidates.

As a CHPP Maintenance Technician, you’ll play an important role in maintaining the reliability and performance of the Coal Handling and Preparation Plant. Mangoola is committed to developing future leaders, and this position offers opportunities to build leadership capability, take ownership of improvement initiatives, and pursue development pathways into supervisory and leadership roles.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Completing planned and reactive maintenance across CHPP plant and equipment.
• Inspecting, maintaining and repairing equipment to a high standard.
• Identifying and addressing equipment issues to support safe and reliable plant operation.
• Working collaboratively with the broader CHPP and maintenance teams to achieve maintenance and production priorities.
• Participating in fault finding, troubleshooting and continuous improvement activities.
• Maintaining a strong focus on safe work practices and compliance with site procedures.
• Contributing to a positive and proactive maintenance culture.
• Taking ownership of the quality and standard of your work.
• Supporting the ongoing improvement of plant reliability, availability and performance.

About you:

• You are a trade qualified electrician.
• You have previous experience as a technician in a CHPP or fixed plant industrial setting.
• You are familiar with crushers, conveyors, vibrating screens, centrifuges, industrial pumps, and similar equipment
• You have a high regard for your personal safety and the safety of your teammates.
• You have the ability to follow a plan and the resilience to adapt to a challenging and dynamic environment.
• You demonstrate a positive attitude, reliability, and commitment to working proactively.
• You are a team player with a high level of safety awareness, an attitude for outstanding performance, and a willingness to contribute to a winning team.
• You are interested in developing your leadership capability and pursuing future career opportunities within maintenance supervision.
