Wollondilly Shire Council is seeking a passionate Child Care Assistant to join our Children’s Services team on a permanent part-time basis. The role supports delivery of high‑quality care in line with the National Quality Framework across Before & After School and Vacation Care programs.

Requirements include being over 18 with 1+ year experience with 5–12 year olds, current First Aid/ CPR, WWCC and Police Check, and availability for term-time and holiday shifts.

Qualifikationen

• Over 18 years of age with a minimum 1 year experience with children aged 5-12.
• Current First Aid Certificate and CPR.
• Working with Children Check and Police Check.
• Available to work NSW terms; shifts 6:30am–9:00am and 3:00pm–7:00pm in terms; 7:00am–7:00pm during holidays.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Permanent Position – working 13 hours per week (Mondays & Tuesdays)
• Commencing at $438.73 per week hour + 12% superannuation
• Flexible Working Hours with availability between: NSW School Terms – 6:30am–9:00am & 3:00pm–7:00pm and NSW School Holidays – 7:00am–7:00pm

About the opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and flexible Child Care Assistant to join our Children’s Services team on a permanent part-time basis. In this role, you’ll support the delivery of high-quality child care in line with the National Quality Framework (NQF) and relevant legislation across our Before & After School Care and Vacation Care programs.

The successful applicant will succeed in this position by meeting the following criteria:

• Over 18 years of age with a minimum of 1-year experience working with children aged 5-12 years
• Current First Aid Certificate, CPR certificate, Working with Children Check and Police Check
• Available to work shifts between 6.30am – 9.00am and 3.00pm – 7.00pm during NSW Public School Terms; and shift between 7.00am – 7.00pm during NSW School Holidays.
• Demonstrated ability to work individually and collaboratively as part of a professional team
