NSW Department of Communities and Justice is recruiting for a Child Protection Caseworker in regional New England (Armidale, Glen Innes, Inverell, Moree, Narrabri, Tamworth). The role focuses on safeguarding children, assessing risk, and developing safety plans, with court involvement as needed.

The position offers ongoing employment, a salary of $92,632–$120,478 per year plus superannuation and annual leave loading, and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work with vulnerable children and families.
• Capacity to work collaboratively with other agencies and professionals.

Responsabilités

• Respond to reports about safety concerns involving children or young people.
• Develop safety plans and complete risk assessments.
• Manage cases including high-need and high-risk families and attend court processes.
