Job summary

Turning Stones Recruitment Pty Ltd presents an executive People & Culture leadership role with CHC Australia in Canberra. Reporting to the CEO, you’ll drive the people agenda during a period of growth and organisational evolution, translating strategy into workforce priorities, culture, and capability.

You’ll advise the CEO, Board and Executive Team, lead transformation, and balance commercial pace with governance in a lean, asset-intensive environment. A flexible hybrid model is available.

Qualifications

• Extensive generalist HR leadership experience, ideally through growth or transformation.
• Commercial acumen, executive credibility and the confidence to constructively challenge.
• Strong operational HR capability and a pragmatic, sleeves-rolled-up approach.
• Ability to build trust at every level while balancing pace, risk and organisational values.

Responsibilities

• Lead a broad People & Culture function translating strategy into workforce priorities.
• Provide trusted strategic advice to the CEO, Board and Executive Team.
• Oversee culture, engagement, talent acquisition, succession and leadership development.
• Manage employee relations, performance and remuneration.
• Governance, systems, reporting, compliance and people risk.
• Coach leaders and drive change across the business.
