Job summary

Icon Water, based in Canberra, is seeking a Head of People, Capability & Change to guide workforce strategy, culture, and capability across the organisation. You will partner with Executives and the Board to drive enterprise-wide transformation and ensure safe, reliable, and sustainable services for the ACT region.

In this senior role, you will influence leadership development, manage workforce planning, and lead industrial relations while fostering an inclusive, high-performing workplace.

Qualifications

• Accomplished people leader with experience shaping workforce strategy and building organisational capability.
• Trusted adviser to Executives and Boards with strong industrial relations expertise.
• Expertise in workforce strategy, organisational development, leadership capability and change management.
• Strong experience in enterprise bargaining and workforce consultation.
• Ability to leverage workforce insights and data to inform strategic decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the workforce, culture, capability and industrial relations agenda at Icon Water.
• Partner with Executives and the Board to shape organisational capability for delivering services.
• Drive transformation in complex operational environments and support workforce needs.
• Provide strategic leadership on workforce planning and organisational change.
