Job summary

St Peters Lutheran College Springfield is seeking an exceptional educational leader to join our Springfield Leadership Team as Director of Learning & Innovation. You will lead across Prep to Year 12, shaping curriculum, pedagogy and assessment to ensure students flourish in a rapidly changing world.

This influential leadership role requires strategic and operational delivery, collaboration with senior leaders, and a commitment to Christian ethos.

Qualifications

• Experience leading curriculum innovation and school improvement.
• Proven ability to lead data-informed improvement initiatives and organisational change.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to coach and inspire colleagues.
• Strong knowledge of Australian Curriculum, QCAA requirements, and assessment/reporting frameworks.
• Current Queensland College of Teachers Registration and Lutheran School Leadership accreditation considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of curriculum vision and academic priorities.
• Drive excellence in pedagogy, assessment, reporting and feedback practices.
• Use data and research to inform whole-school improvement and student achievement.
• Strengthen continuity across the P–12 learning journey and middle years focus.
• Oversee learner programs including enrichment and intervention initiatives.
