Job summary

St Peters Springfield is seeking an exceptional educational leader to join our Springfield Leadership Team as Director of Learning & Innovation. You will provide strategic and operational leadership across all aspects of teaching and learning, guiding curriculum design, assessment and school improvement across Prep to Year 12.

• Extensive leadership experience within a school setting.
• Expertise in contemporary curriculum design and assessment.
• Strong knowledge of Australian Curriculum and QCAA requirements.
• Experience leading data-informed school improvement initiatives.
• Outstanding interpersonal and coaching skills.
• Collaborative leadership style and ability to build professional culture.
• Commitment to student growth, wellbeing and academic success.
• Understanding of Christian ethos and Lutheran values.
• Current Queensland College of Teachers Registration.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Education or related field.
• Postgraduate qualifications are highly regarded.
• Accreditation as Leader in Lutheran Schools or willingness to complete.
• Eligibility to work in Australia and meet child safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead curriculum vision and strategic academic priorities.
• Drive curriculum, pedagogy, assessment, reporting and feedback.
• Use data and research to inform whole-school improvement.
• Strengthen continuity across the P–12 learning journey.
• Oversee learner programs including enrichment and intervention.
• Lead academic operations including compliance and reporting.
• Foster collaboration, continuous improvement and innovation.
