Job summary

Cadence Connect is partnering with a high-growth ASX-listed Australian business to lead a senior security leadership role. You will oversee a team across Australia and offshore, reporting to the COO and presenting security initiatives to the board Risk Committee.

The role focuses ~70% on security, with an established strategy to refine and deliver. It involves collaborating with engineering, product and marketing to enable the business and manage risk in a growth-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Senior security leadership experience required (CISO/Deputy CISO or equivalent).
• Experience securing in-house software development and AI tooling.
• Background in organisations with large volumes of customer data.
• Solid grounding in IT infrastructure and hybrid cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead security operations, compliance, IT infrastructure and modern workplace.
• Partner with engineering to embed security into software development and AI tools.
• Drive the ISO 27001 program and Essential Eight uplift.
• Own the IT and security budget and report to the board Risk Committee.
