Job summary

Techforce Personnel is seeking a FIFO Chef to join a multi-site operation across Queensland. Candidates should hold Australian cookery qualifications and have experience in high-volume catering, ideally in cruise ships, hotels, or rigs. A current police clearance and unrestricte d driver’s license are required.

Full-time opportunities are available with an early December start, and shortlisted applicants will attend an information session followed by pre-employment screening.

Techforce Personnel is seeking experienced and qualified Chefs with a strong background in commercial cookery and bulk food preparation.

Opportunities are available across multiple sites in QLD.

What you'll need

• Australian Certificate III/IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
• Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Hospitality or Kitchen Management
• Australian Chef Trade Certificate
• NZQA/NCEA Level 4 Certificate in Cookery
• City & Guilds Level 3 or 4 Diploma/Advanced Diploma in Professional Cookery
• AU-recognized Skills Assessment
• AU Drivers Licence
• Experience in cruise ships, hotels, oil and gas rigs, or similar high-volume catering environments is highly regarded
• Unrestricted AU/INTL driver's license
• National Police Clearance issued within the last 6 months with no disclosable outcomes
• Ability to pass all required pre-employment medical, physical, drug and alcohol testing
• Availability to commit to a minimum 6-month engagement
