Job summary

Techforce Personnel isseeking experienced chefs with a strong background in commercial cookery and bulk food preparation for full-time roles across multiple sites in Queensland. The roles require formal qualifications, appropriate licences, and clearances, with long-term engagement in a safety-focused mining and resources ecosystem.

Shortlisted candidates will attend information sessions and complete pre-employment screenings.

Qualifications

• Must have Australian Certificate III/IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent.
• Must hold Diploma/Advanced Diploma in Hospitality or Kitchen Management or equivalent.
• Must possess Australian Chef Trade Certificate or equivalent.
• NZQA/NCEA Level 4 Cookery Certificate is desirable.
• City & Guilds Level 3/4 in Professional Cookery or equivalent.
• AU-recognized Skills Assessment.
• AU Drivers Licence (or international equivalent).
• Unrestricted AU/INTL driver’s license is preferred.
• National Police Clearance issued within the last 6 months is required.
• Must pass pre-employment medical/physical/drug and alcohol tests.
• Willingness to engage for at least 6 months.

• Experience in cruise ships, hotels, oil and gas rigs, or similar high-volume catering environments is highly regarded
• Unrestricted AU/INTL driver's license
• National Police Clearance issued within the last 6 months with no disclosable outcomes
• Ability to pass all required pre-employment medical, physical, drug and alcohol testing
• Availability to commit to a minimum 6-month engagement
