The Marsden Brewhouse, part of the Laundy Hotels Group in Western Sydney, is hiring chefs at every level—from Head Chef to Commis Chef. We offer full-time, part-time and casual roles in a vibrant, family-friendly setting that combines a pub, brewery, restaurant and events space.

Qualifications

• Qualified Head Chef, CDP, Demi Chef, Commis Chef or Sous Chef with relevant experience.
• Minimum 1–3 years’ professional kitchen experience.
• A love for fresh, seasonal produce and bold flavours with leadership skills.
• Ability to thrive in a high-energy, fast-paced kitchen.
• A cool head under pressure and teamwork mindset.

Responsibilities

• Effectively manage the kitchen, ensure correct suppliers, oversee food prep, service and presentation.
• Maintain hygiene, food storage, and comply with regulations and systems (e.g., Squizify).
• Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation and hygiene.
• Update menu in line with trends and seasonal ingredients in collaboration with the Executive Chef and Group Head Chef.

As part of the Laundy Hotels Group, The Marsden Brewhouse continues to deliver quality dining, exceptional service and a welcoming atmosphere for every guest. We’re seeking Chefsto join our team and play a key role in maintaining and elevating the high standards our guests know and love.

We are looking to fill various roles at every level:

Qualified Head Chefs, CDPs, Demi Chefs, Commis Chefs, Sous Chefs!

Key Responsibilities

• Effectively manage the kitchen by ensuring the use of correct suppliers and produce, overseeing food preparation,serviceand presentation; managingportioncontrol and food consistency, stock rotation and EOM stocktake.
• Ensure that all statutory regulations are adhered to within the kitchen andmaintainthe highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen and food storage areas while ensuring compliance with applications such asSquizify.
• Maintainhigh standardsof food quality,presentationand hygiene
• Updating menu in line with current trends and customer demand while ensuring the incorporation of seasonal ingredients in collaboration with the Executive chef and Group Head Chef.

About you

• Miniumassociate degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma in commercial cookery or relevant field
• Minimum 1-3years’ experiencein a professional environment
• A genuine love for fresh, seasonal produce and bold flavours, paired with the management skills needed to lead a smooth, efficient kitchen
• Ability to thrive in a high energy, fast paced kitchen.
• A cool head (even when the grill's scorching).
• Team players who bring flavour, energy, and a dash of cheek
