Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Chef or Cook.
• Strong communication skills in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Good understanding of dietary requirements.
• Solid knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards and HACCP guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all aspects of food production with the culinary team.
• Prepare and cook a variety of dishes to high standards.
• Manage guest dietary requirements and deliver exceptional service.
• Maintain strict food safety and hygiene standards.
• Assist with stock control, sourcing, and supplier coordination.
• Develop new and creative menu items with the team.
• Ensure WHS, HACCP compliance and a clean, well‑stocked kitchen.

Key Responsibilities:

• Liaise daily with the culinary team to coordinate all aspects of food production, set ups and service timings.
• Prepare and cook a variety of dishes to high standards, ensuring presentation and taste consistently exceed guest expectations.
• Understand and accommodate guest requirements, including a strong awareness of special dietary needs.
• Maintain strict food safety and hygiene standards.
• Assist with stock control, ingredient sourcing, and supplier coordination to ensure product availability and freshness.
• Collaborate with the team to develop new and creative menu items.
• Ensure compliance with Work Health & Safety (WHS), hygiene, and HACCP regulations.
• Ensure the kitchen is clean, organised, and well-stocked.

About you:

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Chef or Cook.
