Job summary

ICC Sydney is seeking energetic Chefs and Cooks to join our event delivery kitchens, working in a large Production Kitchen or with the Events team to plate and serve dishes for world-class events.

We offer up to 5 days per week with a flexible, rotating roster. Roles suit qualified Chefs (desirable) or motivated Cooks, focusing on fresh, seasonal ingredients in a dynamic, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in a fast-paced and noisy environment.
• Able to perform in a physically demanding role with some heavy lifting.
• Willingness to work a 7-day rotating roster including days, evenings and weekends.
• Valid working rights in Australia.
• You must be 18 years or over.

Responsibilities

• Cook and plate dishes for large-scale events in either Production Kitchen or Events team.
• Assist with food preparation in a fast-paced catering environment.
• Maintain high standards of food hygiene and safety while supporting the team.

We are seeking energetic, passionate, and driven Chefs and Cooks to join our award-winning Event Delivery - Kitchen team, working either in our large Production Kitchen, or alongside our Events team to plate and serve dishes, creating memorable experiences. You will join a diverse and supportive team who cater to world-class events held in our Convention, Exhibition and Theatre precinct.

No two days are the same and this unique opportunity will give you the chance to understand how to apply restaurant thinking to large-scale events. Our Kitchens focus on fresh, seasonal, and ethically sourced ingredients. Connecting the nutritional value in food to deliver the best possible environment for success.

We are excited to hear from both qualified Chefs (desirable) and Cooks looking for casual opportunities. We have multiple roles available where you can tailor how much you work, with up to 5 days per week available.
