Job summary

ICC Sydney is seeking an organised Kitchen Systems & Inventory Coordinator to join our Event Delivery - Kitchen team. You will manage inventory, purchasing, recipe management and cost-control systems to support food & beverage operations.

Working closely with Culinary, Kitchen Logistics, Retail Operations and Finance, you will ensure accurate stock records, PO processing and insightful reporting to drive efficiency and cost savings.

Qualifications

  • Coordinate and administer inventory, purchasing, recipe management, and cost-control systems.
  • Maintain purchasing, inventory, POS, procurement, and recipe management records.
  • Process kitchen orders and support purchasing based on forecast demand and production schedules.
  • Raise, review, merge, and monitor purchase orders.
  • Maintain product records, supplier catalogues, pricing, recipes, menus and stock information.
  • Coordinate monthly stocktakes, stock transfers, inventory adjustments, reconciliations and variance reporting.
  • Monitor stock depletion and investigate discrepancies to identify root causes.
  • Maintain recipe and menu costing data, including ingredient pricing, yields, portions.
  • Valid working rights in Australia; you must be 18+.

About this opportunity:

We are seeking an organised and analytical Kitchen Systems & Inventory Coordinator to join our Event Delivery - Kitchen team. This role is ideal for a hospitality professional who understands kitchen operations and enjoys working with inventory, purchasing, recipe management, reporting and cost-control systems.

Working closely with our Culinary, Kitchen Logistics, Retail Operations, Finance and Procurement teams, you will help maintain the accuracy and integrity of purchasing, stock, recipe and financial information across our Food & Beverage and Kitchen operations.

Required Skills & Experience:

Reporting to the Chef de Cuisine - Production & Kitchen Management Systems, you will coordinate and administer the systems and processes that support inventory accuracy, purchasing efficiency, food cost control and operational decision-making.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining food and beverage purchasing, inventory, point-of-sale, procurement and recipe management systems.
  • Processing kitchen orders and supporting purchasing requirements based on forecast demand, production schedules and operational needs.
  • Raising, reviewing, merging and monitoring purchase orders.
  • Maintaining accurate product records, supplier catalogues, pricing structures, recipes, menus and stock information.
  • Coordinating monthly stocktakes, stock transfers, inventory adjustments, reconciliations and variance reporting.
  • Monitoring stock depletion and investigating inventory discrepancies to identify root causes and corrective actions.
  • Maintaining recipe and menu costing information, including ingredient pricing, yields, portion sizes and product specifications.
  • Valid working rights in Australia.
  • You must be 18 years or over.
