Job summary

G’day Group, the leading Australian tourism brands Discovery Parks, Resorts and G'day Rewards, is seeking a committed Chef to run a cost-efficient, high-quality kitchen operation in our busy park environments.

You will manage food prep, stock control, HACCP compliance and a motivated kitchen team, delivering meals with care while maintaining safety, hygiene and a positive guest experience across shifts in the NT.

Qualifications

• Formal trade qualifications in commercial cooking or equivalent experience.
• Previous Chef experience in a similar environment.
• HACCP experience essential and strong emphasis on food hygiene.

Responsibilities

• Food preparation and presentation.
• Adhere to HSE policies and safe food handling practices.
• Adherence to dietary requirements (allergies, special requests).
• Management of stock ordering, rotation and stocktaking.
• Maintaining a clean kitchen, equipment and utensils.
• Create high-quality dishes that nourish and delight guests.
• Provide fast, friendly service with a smile.
• Assist in overseeing kitchen staff, including training and performance development.
