Job summary

G’day Group seeks a skilled Chef to lead food preparation and presentation across its Australian kitchens. You will manage stock, maintain high hygiene standards, and ensure cost-effective operations while delivering excellent guest experiences.

The role requires formal commercial cooking qualifications, HACCP experience, and the ability to train and develop kitchen staff. A current driver’s license is required; accommodation and meals are provided as part of the package.

Qualifications

• Previous Chef experience in a similar environment.
• Formal trade qualifications in commercial cooking or equivalent experience.
• HACCP experience essential with strong food hygiene focus.
• Current driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Food preparation and presentation.
• Adhere to HSE policies and safe food handling practices.
• Stock ordering, rotation and stocktaking.
• Maintain a clean kitchen, equipment and utensils.
• Create high-quality dishes to nourish and delight guests.
• Provide fast, friendly service and oversee kitchen staff, including training and development.
