NoosaCare on the Sunshine Coast is seeking a casual Chef or Cook to join our kitchen team, delivering fresh, nutritious meals for residents in aged care. You will work across shifts and may cover at Cooroy or Tewantin facilities.

Ideally you hold a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery and have experience with special diets, allergies, and texture-modified meals; strong time management and a caring attitude are essential for success in this role.

About the Role

As part of our amazing kitchen team, you will:

• Assist in preparing high-quality, healthy, and nutritious meals for residents
• Ensure all allergies, intolerances, texture-modified diets, and individual dietary requirements are carefully followed
• Maintain Food Safety standards, including kitchen hygiene and cleanliness
• Shifts are available between 6:00am - 2:00pm and 10:00am - 6:00pm, Monday to Sunday.

This is a casual position, so flexibility and reliability are essential. Availability to cover staff leave, including short-notice and varied shifts, will be highly regarded. The position may be required to work at either our Cooroy or Tewantin facility.

About You

You will ideally have:

• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent (preferred but not essential)
• Previous experience in aged care, healthcare, or commercial kitchen environment
• Experience preparing meals for special diets, including allergies, intolerances, soft foods, and pureed meals
• Strong time management skills and the ability to multitask in a busy kitchen
• A caring, respectful, and professional attitude towards residents, families, and colleagues
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
