Cater Care is seeking an experienced Chef Manager to lead our kitchen operations at an aged care residence in Horsham. This hands-on leadership role requires owning kitchen operations, developing a team, and delivering high standards across food quality, service and compliance.

We offer a $90,000 salary + super, plus a $3,000 retention bonus paid at 3 and 6 months, with a Monday–Friday roster, uniform provided and ongoing training and career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification and current Food Safety Supervisor Certification are required.
• Experience leading a kitchen team or managing hospitality operations.
• Strong leadership, communication and people management skills.
• Experience in hospitality, catering, aged care or healthcare food services.
• Willingness to commit long-term to Horsham area.

This is a hands‑on leadership role, ideal for a Chef who is ready to take ownership of kitchen operations, lead and develop a team, and drive high standards across food quality, service and compliance. More than a traditional Chef role, you’ll play a key role in creating a positive dining experience for residents while supporting and motivating your team.

• Relevant Trade Qualification and current Food Safety Supervisor Certification
• Proven experience leading a kitchen team or managing hospitality operations
• Strong leadership, communication and people management skills
• Experience in hospitality, catering, aged care or healthcare food services
• Highly organised, self‑motivated and confident managing priorities independently
• Committed to delivering high standards of food, service, hygiene and resident care
• Willingness to make a long‑term commitment to working and living in the Horsham area
