SkillQuest Solutions is recruiting two qualified Chefs for a contemporary North Adelaide restaurant. You will join a dynamic kitchen team, lead daily operations, and deliver high-quality dishes across Indian, Mediterranean and modern Australian cuisines.

The role requires 1+ year in a fast-paced kitchen, strong leadership, and solid knowledge of food costing, safety and hygiene. Full-time, on-site with a competitive salary and superannuation in a vibrant setting.

Qualifikationen

• Diploma in hospitality management or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of Chef experience in fast-paced hospitality.
• Experience in Indian, Med, and modern Australian cuisine is desirable.
• Ability to lead, supervise and mentor kitchen staff with high food standards.
• Strong knowledge of food costing, portions, stock, ordering and operations.
• Knowledge of food safety, hygiene and WHS regulations.

Aufgaben

• Plan and develop menus featuring Indian, Mediterranean and modern Australian cuisine.
• Prepare and cook a diverse range of dishes with authentic flavours and quality.
• Monitor taste, presentation and portion sizes to maintain high standards.
• Estimate food costs and minimise wastage to support operations.
• Order ingredients, monitor stock and maintain kitchen supplies.
• Coordinate daily prep and cooking for lunch and dinner services.
• Lead and train kitchen staff on techniques, presentation and procedures.
• Collaborate with management to develop new dishes and seasonal menus.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and WHS requirements and keep areas well maintained.
