Job summary

Sodexo is seeking experienced Chefs to join our regional Queensland operations, delivering quality meals in a busy village setting to support mining communities. These DIDO roles from Mackay on a 14:7 roster involve 11-hour days, with casual opportunities and potential permanent placement for high-performing staff.

You'll prepare meals across breakfast, crib and dinner services in a high-volume catering environment, upholding HACCP standards and working as part of a supportive kitchen team.

Qualifications

• Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery.
• Experience in bulk catering or high-volume kitchens.
• Strong food safety and hygiene knowledge.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Able to work in remote environments and varying weather conditions.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol test.
• Full Australian working rights.
