Job summary

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Chef de Partie or similar role.
• Knowledge of food safety, hygiene and workplace safety practices.
• Experience in busy café, restaurant or high-volume hospitality.
• Strong knowledge of cooking methods and kitchen operations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and present menu items to a high standard.
• Manage a designated section of the kitchen during service.
• Assist with menu preparation, stock rotation and mise en place.
• Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are followed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of kitchen work areas.
• Monitor portion control, presentation and wastage.
• Assist with ordering, receiving and storing supplies.
• Support and train junior kitchen staff as required.
• Collaborate with kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth service.
