Job summary

Accor, a global hospitality leader, is seeking a Chef de Partie in Sydney for the Novotel Sydney Darling Square kitchen team. You will supervise a kitchen section alongside the Head Chef, help with menu prep and maintain high standards across outlets from buffet breakfast to in-room dining.

You will be trade qualified with a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery, able to work in a high-volume kitchen, and lead junior chefs while upholding food hygiene and presentation standards.

Qualifications

• Trade qualified chef with a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery.
• Ability to work in a busy high-volume kitchen.
• Passion for quality food and delivering great guest experiences.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the kitchen in the Head Chef's absence and delegate duties.
• Prepare and cook food to a high standard and manage your designated kitchen section.
• Assist Head Chef with menu preparation and ensure adequate supplies for service.
• Liaise with F&B team on menu availability and changes.
• Maintain presentation standards and cost control for all outlets.
• Ensure stock rotation and wastage minimisation with stock control procedures.
