Job summary

Rydges Resort Hunter Valley, part of EVT, seeks a Chef de Partie to manage a designated kitchen section and deliver high-quality dishes. You will supervise junior staff, uphold food safety, and assist in stock control across restaurant, bar, events and conferencing operations.

The role is full-time in a dynamic hotel kitchen environment, offering career growth and opportunities within EVT's diverse hospitality network. Must be prepared for a fast-paced setting and roster flexibility.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent qualification.
• Several years of experience in a professional or Commercial kitchen.
• Must have the legal right to work in Australia.
• Flexibility to work across all hotel kitchens.

Responsibilities

• Managing the day-to-day operations of a designated kitchen section.
• Advanced cooking techniques and strong culinary knowledge.
• Ability to lead and supervise a team within a busy kitchen environment.
• Monitor food quality and quantity as it relates to portion control.
• Coordinate with other kitchen sections to ensure smooth service delivery.
• Maintain health and safety guidelines; ensure a clean and safe kitchen.
