Job summary

Rydges Resort Hunter Valley, part of EVT, invites an experienced Director of Food & Beverage to lead day-to-day operations across hotel outlets and events in Australia’s premier wine region.

You will drive guest satisfaction, manage budgets and payroll, and recruit and develop a high-performing team while collaborating with culinary and beverage leads to deliver exceptional dining experiences for guests and events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Hotel Management or Business Administration.
• Four years in guest service/hotel management at a supervisory level.
• Strong understanding of hotel systems and revenue management.
• Excellent project management and cross-functional collaboration.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; results-driven.
• Valid NSW RSA certification, First Aid, and a driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day F&B operations across outlets and events.
• Drive guest satisfaction with feedback and improvements.
• Manage budget, costs, payroll efficiency, and scheduling.
• Recruit, onboard, and develop hotel services team.
• Coordinate with culinary and beverage leads on menus.
• Ensure compliance with HACCP, WH&S, and safety standards.
• Monitor stock, ordering, and inventory control.
• Drive annual and quarterly action plans for performance.
