Qualifications

• 1+ year experience as a Chef or Cook in a reputable hospitality establishment with Sushi/Sashimi experience.
• Formal culinary qualification or training (e.g. Certificate III in Commercial Cookery).
• Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods and presentation.
• Excellent time management, multi-tasking and problem-solving skills.
• Positive attitude, teamwork and ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and present high-quality dishes aligned with our Japanese-inspired cuisine and standards.
• Ensure consistent food quality, portion control and presentation.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised kitchen environment.
• Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations.
• Provide mentorship and training to junior kitchen staff.
