Job summary

D.O.C Group is seeking a Chef de Partie or Senior Chef de Partie to join D.O.C Osteria on Lygon Street, Carlton. You’ll lead the pans or larder section during service and work closely with the Sous Chef to keep dishes authentic and of high quality.

We source from artisan Italian producers and local farmers, and offer a dynamic, supportive kitchen where you can grow your skills and contribute to a growing group of venues.

Qualifications

• Qualifications and training in professional cooking.
• Experience leading a section during service.
• Knowledge of safe food handling and hygiene.
• Interest in Italian culture and locally sourced produce.

Responsibilities

• Lead the pans or larder section during service.
• Oversee pre-service prep and mise en place.
• Take ownership of dish quality and consistency.
• Collaborate with the Sous Chef through prep and service.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and food safety standards.
• Foster a positive, motivated team environment.
• Continue learning through on-the-job training.
