Gowings at EVT Limited is seeking a CDP eager to perform under pressure and deliver outstanding dishes. You will lead a section, train juniors, and maintain high standards across a busy kitchen within QT Hotels & Resorts. Candidates should bring 1–2 years in hospitality, strong communication, and meticulous prep to ensure consistent quality.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in hotels, restaurants, or bistros.
• Solid kitchen experience across the kitchen including the grill, pans and larder.
• Ability to train and mentor junior staff and manage a section.
• Strong communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude.
• Attention to detail, well-presented and high standards of cleanliness.
• Ability to multitask and perform under pressure, while still delivering a high standard.

Responsibilities

• Maintain product consistent of all food serviced from the kitchen, following standard recipes and proper portion control across all outlets.
• Prepare and present all required menu items with a strong recipe knowledge.
• Maintain excellent food storage, cleanliness, and workplace health and safety standards in all kitchen areas.
• Anticipate and respond promptly to guest needs while upholding professional personal grooming and positive team relationships.
