Job summary

Half Moon Brighton is seeking a passionate and motivated Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team. This role offers the chance to work with quality produce in a busy, supportive kitchen and to develop culinary skills under a Head Chef.

Ideal candidates will have previous Chef de Partie experience, thrive in a high-volume environment, and show energy, creativity and professionalism. Evening, weekend and public holiday work may be required in a dynamic, renowned venue.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar kitchen role.
• Ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced kitchen.
• Strong time management and organisational skills.
• Positive attitude under pressure and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the day-to-day operation of your section.
• Prepare and cook quality dishes to a consistently high standard.
• Maintain excellent food quality, presentation and hygiene standards.
• Work closely with the Head Chef and wider kitchen team.
• Contribute to a positive and professional kitchen culture.
• Continue developing your culinary skills and knowledge.
