Job summary

Avani Cypress Lakes Resort is seeking a skilled Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team on a full-time basis. You will support daily kitchen operations, maintain high standards of food quality and presentation, and contribute to menu development with the Head Chef.

Applicants should have a Certificate III in Cookery, hotel/restaurant experience, and the flexibility to work across all service periods on a rotating roster.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Cookery or equivalent.
• Strong cooking knowledge and methods.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexible to work across breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals to high standards following recipes.
• Collaborate with kitchen team to ensure smooth operations.
• Plate and present dishes to brand standards.
• Assist with rostering under Chef in Charge.
• Monitor stock and safe storage of food and supplies.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in all kitchen areas.
• Contribute to development of new menu items with Head Chef.
