Minor Hotels’ AVANI Cypress Lakes Resort and AVANI WELL are seeking a skilled Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team on a Full Time or Part Time basis. The role supports efficient kitchen operation, ensuring high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene, with a rotating schedule across breakfast, lunch, and dinner services.

Ideal candidates hold a Certificate III in Cookery and have experience in hotel or restaurant environments.

Qualifications

• Proven cooking skills across menu items and kitchen procedures.
• Excellent teamwork and communication in fast-paced hotel/restaurant setting.
• Willingness to work across breakfast, lunch, and dinner shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and cooking meals to the highest standard, following recipes and maintaining consistency.
• Collaborate with kitchen team to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Plate dishes to brand standards and ensure presentation quality.
• Assist with back-of-house rosters and stock control.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene across kitchen areas and storage.
• Contribute to development of new menu items with Head Chef.
