AVANI Cypress Lakes Resort in NSW, Australia is hiring a Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team on a full-time basis. You will work under the Head Chef to prepare high-quality dishes, maintain brand standards and uphold food safety and hygiene across service periods.

We seek a Certificate III in Cookery with hotel/restaurant experience, strong teamwork, and a proactive attitude. Flexible rostering across breakfast, lunch and dinner, including weekends, is required.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Cookery qualification.
• Experience in a hotel or restaurant environment.
• Strong knowledge of cooking procedures and methods.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and cooking meals to the highest standard, following recipes and maintaining consistency.
• Collaborate with kitchen team to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Present dishes to brand standards and ensure proper plating.
• Assist with back-of-house rosters and stock control.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene across kitchen areas and equipment.
• Contribute to development of new menu items with Head Chef.
