Job summary

AVANI Cypress Lakes Resort in New South Wales is seeking a skilled Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team on a full-time basis. You will prepare and plate high-quality dishes, maintain brand standards, and work closely with the Head Chef.

Casual, part-time, or full-time options may be available; rosters cover breakfast, lunch and dinner with potential weekend work. You will contribute to menu development and uphold strict hygiene practices within a dynamic resort environment.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Cookery is required.
• Previous hotel/restaurant kitchen experience preferred.
• Knowledge of cooking procedures and methods.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and cooking meals to high standards.
• Collaborate with kitchen team to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Plate dishes to brand standards and ensure consistency.
• Assist in back-of-house rosters.
• Oversee stock control and storage of food and supplies.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene across kitchen areas.
• Contribute to development of new menu items with Head Chef.
