Job summary

Green Zebra Restaurant & Bar – Parrearra QLD is seeking a casual Chef de Partie or Experienced Cook to join our busy kitchen on a casual basis. We’re a waterfront restaurant serving modern Australian cuisine, with a friendly team and a focus on quality food.

We offer an above-award pay rate, flexible shifts, and opportunities for ongoing work, staff discounts, and growth within the business on the Sunshine Coast. Availability for evenings and weekends is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience as Chef de Partie, Demi Chef, or experienced Cook.
• Strong à la carte and service experience.
• Able to work efficiently in a busy kitchen.
• Good understanding of food preparation, presentation, and kitchen hygiene.
• Reliable, organised and able to work under pressure.
• Positive attitude and team mentality.

We’re a busy waterfront restaurant serving modern Australian cuisine. Silly season is coming and we’re looking for someone who can hit the ground running, work confidently during busy services, and take pride in quality food.

About You

• Previous experience as a Chef de Partie, Demi Chef, or experienced Cook

• Strong à la carte and service experience

• Able to work efficiently in a busy kitchen

• Good understanding of food preparation, presentation, and kitchen hygiene

• Reliable, organised, and able to work well under pressure

• Positive attitude and strong team mentality

• Availability for evenings, weekends, and public holidays

• Relevant culinary qualifications are preferred but experience will be considered
