Job summary

Delaware North Australia at Adelaide Airport is seeking a passionate Chef de Partie to lead a section of the kitchen and support the Head Chef in delivering high-quality meals in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates hold a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or higher with proven Chef de Partie experience, strong food safety knowledge, and excellent communication. This on-site role offers growth across our global hospitality network.

The opportunity

Delaware North Australia is hiring a passionate and experienced Chef de Partie to join our culinary team at Adelaide Airport. As a Chef de Partie, you’ll be responsible for overseeing a section of the kitchen, maintaining high standards of food preparation and presentation and supporting the Head Chef in ensuring smooth kitchen operations.

What you will do?

• Planning menus, estimating food and labour costs and ordering food supplies
• Monitoring quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation
• Highly skilled at minimising waste
• Demonstrate a solid understanding HACCP and Food Safety standards
• Collaborate with the Head Chef to establish, execute and evaluate food service standards
• Monitor dish quality throughout preparation and presentation stages
• Address food preparation issues with managers, kitchen and waiting staff
• Demonstrate techniques and provide advice on cooking procedures
