Delaware North Australia is seeking an experienced Chef de Partie to join the culinary team at Adelaide Airport. You will oversee a kitchen section, uphold high standards of food preparation and presentation, and support the Head Chef in smooth kitchen operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or higher.
• Proven experience as a Chef de Partie in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen.
• Strong understanding of Food Safety and HACCP standards.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Strong team player with the capacity to work independently.
• Effective and clear communication skills.
• Creativity and passion for food with a commitment to exceptional service.
• The ability to mentor culinary team members.

Responsibilities

• Plan menus, estimate food and labour costs and order supplies.
• Monitor quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation.
• Minimise waste effectively in kitchen operations.
• Maintain HACCP and Food Safety standards across sections.
• Collaborate with Head Chef to establish and evaluate service standards.
• Monitor dish quality from prep to plate and resolve issues with staff.
