Ramsgate Beach House is seeking a Chef de Partie to join our modern coastal kitchen team. You will oversee breakfast and assist with lunch service, ensuring high-quality ingredients and plated dishes in line with our standards.

Working with the Head and Sous chefs, you will handle line cooking, food preparation and plating while maintaining strict food handling and sanitation practices. This role suits a team player who thrives under pressure and has current industry certificates.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years relevant work experience.
• Hold all relevant and current industry certificates.
• Up to date knowledge of current food trends.
• Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure.

Chef de Partie at Ramsgate Beach House, a licensed venue open 7 days for breakfast and lunch, offering dine in in a modern coastal setting and takeaway through the RBH Kiosk. The role forms part of a new and dynamic kitchen team and will require working knowledge of Modern Australian cuisine and fresh seafood.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure the quality of ingredients and dishes across the breakfast menu as well as assist with lunch service
• Provide support to the Head and Sous chef with various tasks including line cooking, food preparation and plating
• Ensure compliance with food handling and sanitation

About you

• Minimum of 2 years relevant work experience
• Hold all relevant and current industry certificates
• Up to date knowledge of current food trends
• Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure
• Excellent communication skills, approachable manner and a strong customer service focus
• Professionally presented and well groomed at all times
• Available to work a 5 day roster including weekends and public holidays
