Cater Care is seeking a motivated Chef at Uniting Nareen Gardens in Bateau Bay to prepare nutritious meals for residents. You will handle bulk cooking, ensure high standards of food quality, safety and presentation, and work on a weekend roster.

The role requires a recognised trade qualification in commercial cookery, with experience in bulk cooking and texture-modified meals. A National Police Check and flu vaccination are required.

About the opportunity

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Chef to join our team at Uniting Nareen Gardens. You'll play an important role in preparing nutritious, appealing meals for residents while maintaining high standards of food quality, safety and presentation.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing and cooking quality meals for residents.
• Managing bulk cooking and daily food preparation.
• Preparing texture-modified meals in line with individual dietary requirements.
• Maintaining food safety, hygiene and kitchen cleanliness.
• Working independently to ensure meals are delivered on time and to specification.
