Job summary

Cater Care is seeking an experienced Aged Care Chef in Sydney, NSW to deliver nutritious, comforting meals tailored to residents’ dietary needs.

You will work in a high-volume kitchen, ensuring top quality meals and smooth production lines. The role requires a trade qualification and a focus on food safety, with a roster on Monday and Tuesday from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification in Commercial Cookery or equivalent.
• Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (desired).

Responsibilities

• Ensure high quality meals are prepared for residents in a high-volume environment.
• Manage kitchen production efficiently and quickly.
• Maintain strict food safety and hygiene standards.
• Provide warm, professional service to residents and staff.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Trade qualification in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
• Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (desired)
• Previous experience in operating kitchens and/or site management
• Pride in personal appearance & hygiene
